About Us
 The Kargo group
is a services orientated group specialising in transport, national
distribution and logistics. The first company in the group was established in
1982 and today the group consists of 4 companies specialising in all of the
above including long-distance transport.
Eight depots, Bloemfontein,
Cape Town, Durban,
Johannesburg, Port
Elizabeth, Limpopo, Nelspruit and East
London enable a quick and efficient distribution network to the
entire country. A fleet of 250 units, directly under the control of Kargo,
carries out 95% of the company's distribution. The remaining 5% is to smaller
towns in country areas where it is more cost effective to use subcontractors.
The group remains one of the few privately
owned companies where the directors and management all take a hands-on
approach in the driving of the company.
